Simple Cue

Overview

The Simple cue provides basic motion cueing with individual axis control and filtering. It supports aircraft, car, and manual input modes, offering direct mapping of vehicle movements to motion platform commands.

Controls

Each axis (sway, surge, heave, pitch, roll, yaw) has the following controls:

• Enable Checkbox: Toggles the axis on/off

• Isolate Checkbox: Temporarily disables all other axes while enabled

• Gain: Multiplier for motion intensity

• Smoothness: Controls motion filtering

  • Lower values = more responsive but potentially rougher motion

  • Higher values = smoother but more delayed motion

Tuning Tips

• Use the Isolate feature to tune one axis at a time

• Increase smoothness if motion feels too harsh

• Adjust gain to achieve desired motion intensity

• If motion feels delayed, reduce smoothness values

• If motion feels too intense, reduce gain values

• Updates occur in real-time as settings are adjusted
